Blarrghhhhhh. Quick journal entry because two many obsessions are assaulting me at once: Kingdom Hearts 2, FFXII, FFXII cosplay, Neil Gaiman, KH2 Doujinshi, Aetherius Drive (Original comic), art trades, kh_drabbles....

But I can't do them yet because I have to do 2 final projects for Art 14 and Art 24. Been getting no sleep this weekend.

I hear when you don't sleep for a long time you start to hallucin....

Can't post long. Black Friday Thanksgiving Sale Mission Accomplished.

Too busy playing with new harddrive and 1GB flashdrive.

And new wii. Can't stop... playing...

There comes a time in every young woman's life where she and her family must band together against unspeakable odds to prove our worth in the pursuit of happiness.

It's that time of the year again. That's right. Black Friday at Frys Electronics- the 1 day Thanksgiving Sale. And we're camping out at midnight so we can rush in like a pack of (unusually coordinated) rabid dogs and snatch the best valued merchandise and technology before anyone else once the doors open. Little old ladies who are unfortunate enough to be in our path will be naught but casualties of war.

We are getting the three pack of 1 GB Flash drives for 30 dollars. We are getting the 340 GB External harddrives for 70 dollars. We are getting that 6.1 Megapixel digital camera for 60 dollars. And all that which we seek tonight, we WILL acquire. We've used our wiles to acquire all 7 pages of the Frys advertisements, and we've mapped out the different departments of the store. We've split up the battle plan target amongst ourselves, developing detailed routes and areas to avoid.

We've gathered an arsenal of beach-chairs, blankets, pillows, food, water and various forms of entertainment as we lay in wait in front of the store until its opening time at 5am.

I will report in later tonight the fruits of our labor.

May my family find success in our struggles. Heavens be with us, Good luck and Godspeed.

Kingdom Hearts won't leave me alone XD. In fact, the plot bunnies in my brain seem to have gotten the idea that it's mating season and they've spawned an entire generation of little midgets. They're flooding the more logical parts of my mind and pestering me about doing some giant KH Doujinshi following the events of KH2.

I doubt I'll finish the Doujinshi, but... once I get it all planned out and get it going, maybe it'll be fun. Who knows. I'll probably get three pages in before it feels like a chore and then stop, but blah. I'll give it a shot.

But it'll have to have some neato teaser-ific Intro line... like,

"When shadows from the World that Never Was slowly creep back into their life and threaten their world, Riku and Kairi realize one devastating fact: The only person Sora can't save is himself.  The only help arrives in the form of some old shadows from their past..."

Or maybe,

"Destiny Islands ceases to become a safe-haven from the darkness when someone sets the different shades of light and dark within Sora at war with each other. ... Mmm...That'll do nicely...



Cosplay Progress:
-- Final Form Sora:  Well, most of the work I really want to do is the wig. Definitely fix the wig. The hair makes or breaks the Sora cosplay and let's just say that if that were literal, my costume would be in pieces right now. I need to trim it, and then I need to wash the costume cause it's got some dirt knicks here or there. Plus I've got to get a more reliable way to keep the shoulderguards on because hot damn that Hot glue, damn things keeps coming off : / . In any case, I also have to put some details on the shoes, find a better way to put those designs on the shoulders and the pants rather than foam, and to actually sew on the shoulder straps so that they're a part of the costume and not just an attachment. I also have to find a way to attach the belt/pouch equipment to the pants other than hot glue because thats not gonna hold forever.

Other than that, I think the costume is nearly finished. I think I'm going to love it when its done, and that I'll only really feel satisfied showing it off when I feel that it looks good. Right now it just looks bleh...

-- FFXII Zargabaath: No progress has actually been made on the costume yet because dammit, I have no money right now. All of my funds are going towards Christmas shopping which I'll hopefully get done this weekend : / . Christmas is so damn expensive. Great for gifts... but a pain in the arse when you actually wanna get people thoughtful gifts.  I'm better off just getting everyone candy or food or chocolate, but I'm one of those people that strive to get gifts that make people laugh, or gifts that make people sit back and think She KNOWS me... (I wonder if they look forward to my gifts....) In any case, until Christmas passes, I'll just pass the time by looking for good screencaps and references for Zargabaath and the intricate designs on his bloody armor and his cap. Freaking cape XD. Freaking horns. Freaking mask. How the heck am I supposed to breathe in that thing? : / Gah. Got lots to figure out. But first steps first... I have to plan out the costume and for something this intricate and expensive, you gotta make a mock - up first. That'll involve making a complete craft-foam-sheet armor full-body prototype in rainbow colors, because dammit, that's all thats avaiable XD.

1. Start on the FFXII amor cosplay?
Bzzzzzt! Annddd the answer is NO. Tell him what he's won Johnny, a lifetime supply of Christmas Presents and three dollars and 0.5 pennies  to get all of them by Christmas. Congratulations, Kunoichi. Congratulations. No cosplay for you! Only shopping and the frail hope that you might provide  your loved ones with mediocre presents or half-formed blobs of art projects you call gifts. You poor, pathetic human being, you.

2. Chill out for the weekend Finish FFXII?
Bzzzzzzzzt! Well here's Kunoichi taking another stab at the question! The answer is.... NO again! And whaddo we have this time? An entire lifetime supply of Art projects due Monday (or rather just enough to fill all of Sunday with sweat and blood and HARD LABOR over them to finish in time) and not enough time to do it. This week is just your week isn't it?

A few recent developments have cropped up. One, my entire closet save for the uppermost shelf has finally collapsed in on itself from the sheer weight of all that junk. Now I only have one place to hang my clothes and its the only place I can't reach.

That my friends, is a result of being asian, short and taking residence in a bedroom WITH NO STOOLS.
